This building is a five-story headquarters office complex with a rooftop garden, located in Kyoto City, with the first floor serving as a retail space. While harmonizing with the surrounding urban context, the design pays close attention to details to serve as the company’s representative face. Careful consideration was given to light and materiality to convey a sense of depth and vibrancy spilling into the streetscape. The design and supervision were carried out at a design office where I previously worked.
